Children who play or sing music reularly perform better in math and reading when they begin elementary school. Since playing, singing and dancing to music increase both fine and gross motor skills and develops hand-eye coordination, these children are better able to control their bodies. Those actively involved in music also tend to have higher self-esteem and are better at playing with others. Having this program at your facility certainly differentiates you from other facilities in the area. We bring all the material and music instruments we use during the class. - The program can be paid weekly or montly. Grow With Music was designed by Carina Norlund with young children's development in mind. The program focuses on and enhances a child's physical, social and verbal development through: -- singing songs and learning rhymes (known ones as well as my own unique song) -- playing a large amount of instruments (maracas, rhythm sticks, tambourines, drums, flutes, guitar, piano and more) -- dancing to all styles of music (to classical music and music from all over the World) -- imitating animal sounds and movements -- learning rhymes, numbers, colors, shapes and so much more and lastly participating in a puppet show where we talk about relevant every-day challenges such as taking turns while playing, washing our hands, manners and so much more. This program is suitable for children ages walking to 5 years.We have our musical fun for 40 minutes and end with our beloved puppet show.
